Refund Policy

Polar is our merchant of record

All NoteStack subscription payments are processed by Polar.sh, our payment provider and merchant of record. Polar handles your transaction, receipt, and any applicable sales tax/VAT — we never see or store your card details.

7-day free trial (Starter) & money-back guarantee

Starter includes a 7-day free trial — you're not charged anything until it ends, and you can cancel any time during the trial with nothing to refund. Once you're actually charged — Starter's first real charge after the trial, or any Pro charge, which has no trial — the same guarantee applies either way: email stacktreelabs@gmail.com within 7 days of that charge and we'll issue a full refund, no questions asked. Include the email address you used at checkout so we can find your transaction.

Refund requests for renewal charges (monthly or yearly) after the first 7 days are handled case by case — contact us and we'll take a look. We can't retroactively refund usage of a billing period that's already mostly elapsed, but we'd rather make it right than lose your trust.

How to request a refund

1. Email stacktreelabs@gmail.com with the subject “Refund request” and the email address used at checkout.
2. We'll confirm your transaction and process the refund through Polar — you can also request refunds directly via Polar's own checkout receipt email.
3. Refunds are returned to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel Starter or Pro at any time from inside the extension (Settings), or by contacting us. Cancelling stops future renewals — you keep access through the end of your current paid period (or, if you're still in Starter's trial, you're simply never charged).
